We take care of selecting backup data and backup configurations for you so you don’t have to. Simply tell us what files need to be backed up and we will recommend the best method for backing up each different set of data.
Each backup of changes done to a file creates a new backup set uniquely identified by the backup date and time. Users can view and restore up to 30 versions of a single file including the most recent version. This allows them to maintain historical versions of their files/backup sets.
When backing up files very large files offsite resending them every cycle can be a large waste of time. Bit level replication works on the bit level and can detect which “bits” of a file have been modified since the previous backup. This is extremely efficient when large files are changed slightly because bit level replication then only has to transfer the modified bits. This feature has the potential to change backup times from hours to seconds.
Optionally, a backup scheme could be set to be constantly monitoring the selected data. When Real-time Data Protection detects a modification has been made it immediately backs up the file that was changed, providing an instant backup.
We support backup of open files like MS Outlook files (.pst files) among other database files. This feature is available for the Windows Vista, Windows XP and the Windows 2003 Server platforms. There is no need to install additional plugins in the user’s system.
Most imporantly, all communications are encrypted and authenticated with industry-standard 256-bit AES encryption RSA key-pair algorithms and protocols. During transmission and during online backup and storage nobody else will be able to see the data transmitted.
For fast recovery in case of primary device failure, user data is systematically backed up to local RAID devices. This provides for high level of protection that even accounts for disasters at our data center.
